Daniel Presnell received his M.F.A in creative writing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and has spent the last ten years exploring the possibilities and potential of stories in a number of contexts, from documentary photography and film, corporate communication design, to teaching creative writing and journalism at Tulane University and Clemson University. His writing has appeared in journals and sites such as Art Papers, The South Carolina Review, and Beatroute. He is a communication manager at UBC’s Faculty of Medicine, and an organizer of Evening Rounds, a  monthly evening speaker series profiling health care communications and social media.
